[The Learning Collaborative > Global Learning Collaborative]
The Global Social Norms Learning Collaborative is a sub-community of the Social Norms Learning Collaborative network. Comprised of over 450 members from over 100 organizations and 30 countries, the Global Learning Collaborative is a network of passionate individuals and organizations working together to influence and shape the field of social norms. The Learning Collaborative aims to build consensus on promising practices for program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and scaling of proven norms-shifting initiatives.
About us
Founded in 2016 through a grant by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Institute for Reproductive Health and FHI 360 convened the Learning Collaborative to Advance Normative Change in three focused Learning Communities (Theory, Measurement, and Scale-Up).
As of 2020, the Global Learning Collaborative is convened by the Institute for Reproductive Health at the Center for Child and Human Development at Georgetown University and the Center on Gender Equity and Health at the University of California- San Diego. Support is provided from USAID through the Passages Project, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
