Voices of hope: Girls and boys contributing to individual and collective change to advance gender equality in Colombia
- Author: Jean Casey, Feyi Rodway

This qualitative study identifies opportunities for changing norms that limit girls' freedoms and rights. The research looked at adolescent girls and boys living in five communities in Colombia, using participants in Plan International's Champions of Change gender equality programme. The findings indicate: 1) the intersecting vulnerabilities of boys and girls; 2) their understanding and experiences of how positive change happens to dispel harmful gender norms, and 3) the change makers that influence social norms.
