The Everybody Wants to Belong Guide is a programming guide consisting of 24 tools that includes step by step instruction, tips and techniques for leveraging social norms in behavior change programming. It is adaptable across a wide range of contexts and topics and can be applied to FGM. The tools are organized in four complementary sections: Think, Plan, Act and Dig. The guide equally puts forth basic principles to ensure data is generated throughout the life of the programme. This guide is scheduled for testing in 11 countries in the middle east, north Africa, east and southern African countries.
