CARE’s Tipping Point initiative focuses on addressing the root causes of child, early and forced marriage (CEFM), promoting the rights of adolescent girls through community-level programming and evidence generation in Nepal and Bangladesh. There have been two phases in the initiative. Phase 1 (2013-17) which focused on formative development of Theory of Change (TOC) and innovative approaches, and Phase 2 (2017-2020), which looks at harvesting, learning, developing, and testing packages linked to the TOC to generate evidence. Phase 3 (2020-23) will look at institutionalizing and supporting dissemination of effective approaches.
